Bio
The Nouveau is a Sunshine Coast-based indie pop-rock band that formed in high school. The group consists of Benaton Moore, Neill Visser, Ewan Visser, and Aashish Samuel, blending raw energy with melodic songwriting to create a fresh and evolving sound.
Their debut single, “The Girl from Outer Space,” was released while they were still in high school, marking the beginning of their journey as original artists. Since then, The Nouveau has been refining their craft, experimenting with new sounds, and releasing singles that showcase their growth.
Starting out in local bars and clubs, the band has steadily gained traction, now performing at larger venues such as Venue 114, The Station, Schoolies (Gold Coast) Etc. They have also been apart of local Sunshine Coast festivals such as Balin Forever and Alex by the Sea, sharing the line-up with Slowly Slowly, The Vanns and more.
The Bands completely self produced and mastered sound is the catalyst for their creativity to advance and be expressed throughout releases to come. With a strong DIY ethos and a passion for creating music that resonates, The Nouveau is carving out their place in the Australian indie music scene.
